Honeybees

 

 

Miss Murphy and Mrs Stewart would like to welcome you to Honeybees class page.  This page will be updated with news and pictures of the children in Honeybees.  

 

Our current topic this half-term is 'Seasons and Celebrations' and our RE topic is Welcome.    

     

We have been learning about Diwali- the festival of light that is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains this week in our RE learning. We have discussed all the different ways how Hindus celebrate Diwali, one way is to create rangoli patterns. Here are pictures of Honeybees creating their own rangoli pictures.

We enjoyed taking part in freestyle hair day. Here is a picture of our fantastic hairstyles...

We made a poppy and a wreath to mark Remembrance Day. We learnt that it is a time to remember the people who died in the war and a mark of respect for people suffering then and now.

We had so much fun in our PE lesson this week..

Today, we went on a listening walk using our listening ears to see what sounds we could hear in and around school..
